MKNK Foundation Launches L$300,000 Entrance Exam Sponsorship for 100 Aspiring University of Liberia Students
Monrovia, Liberia – The Martin K. N. Kollie Foundation (MKNKF) has announced a major educational support initiative, offering full sponsorship for 100 aspiring Liberian students to sit for the upcoming University of Liberia Entrance and Aptitude Examinations.
The sponsorship, valued at a total of L$300,000, will cover entrance fees for both the Undergraduate Colleges and the Sinje Technical and Vocational College. Each selected applicant will receive L$3,000 to fully finance their examination costs.
The initiative, titled the University of Liberia Entrance Examination and Aptitude Test Sponsorship Program, is part of the Foundation’s continued effort to eliminate financial barriers for bright and determined Liberians seeking higher education.
According to a statement from the Foundation, the goal is to ensure that capable young people are not denied access to education because of limited financial means. “This program is part of the Foundation’s broader commitment to education, youth empowerment, and national development through human capital — ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent capable and outstanding young Liberians from accessing higher education and building a brighter future,” the release noted.
Applications for the sponsorship are now open via the link provided by the Foundation, with a deadline set for Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 11:59 PM Liberian Time.
Activist Martin K. N. Kollie, Founder of the MKNK Foundation, reaffirmed his organization’s dedication to meaningful empowerment beyond advocacy. “As an activist, it is not enough to fight for the people through consistent advocacy and activism. We must also directly empower them to become economically independent, create jobs for themselves, and demonstrate competitiveness in the labor market. This is what the MKNK Foundation seeks,” Kollie stated.
