MKNK Foundation Powers Tubman High School With Starlink Internet

The MKNK Foundation has announced the successful installation and donation of Starlink high-speed internet infrastructure to William V. S. Tubman High School, Liberia’s largest public high school, marking a major milestone in the organization’s ongoing campaign to empower the country’s educational sector through technology.

The donation, which now provides unlimited, fast, and reliable internet access to more than 2,500 students, teachers, administrators, and alumni, was officially acknowledged through a letter of appreciation sent to the Foundation by the school’s leadership.

“This timely intervention marks a significant step toward enhancing the academic environment of our school,” the letter reads. “The unlimited access to internet connectivity will greatly advance the quality of learning and impact over 2,500 teachers, administrators, and students in conducting research, preparing lessons, and broadening their academic exposure.”

Martin K. N. Kollie, Founder and CEO of the MKNK Foundation, described the initiative as part of a deeper commitment to transforming Liberia’s schools through practical, modern solutions.

“Lifting others up, inspiring real change, and taking action. We have nothing to live for on this earth if we cannot support others to thrive and succeed.”

Kollie, who has traveled extensively across Europe and beyond, noted that students in other countries enjoy uninterrupted access to fast internet and digital technology, opportunities he believes Liberian students equally deserve.

“Whenever I see these things out there, I want the same opportunity for Liberian students,” he said. “They deserve quality education and a life of dignity.”

The Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to expanding this initiative, saying that more Liberian schools will soon be equipped with Starlink connectivity as part of a long-term plan to foster research, digital literacy, innovation, and a conducive learning environment across the country.

“Less talking. More action. More innovation. More solutions. More empowerment,” Kollie added. “Liberia first. Liberians first. The people deserve better. They must be empowered.”
