MKNK Foundation Empowers 60 Girls and Young Women Through TVET Training
Sixty girls and young women have successfully completed a six-month intensive Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) program at the Agricultural and Vocational Training Institute (AVTI), marking another major milestone in youth and women empowerment by the Martin K. N. Kollie Foundation (MKNK-F).
The beneficiaries were trained in six vocational and technical skill areas designed to promote self-reliance, innovation, and employability. All participants were fully sponsored by the MKNK Foundation, removing financial barriers and enabling them to focus entirely on skills acquisition and personal development.
Speaking on the achievement, the Foundation emphasized that empowering women and young people is central to national progress. The initiative reflects MKNK-F’s commitment to practical action over rhetoric, with a strong focus on innovation, productivity, and long-term impact.
The Foundation reaffirmed its dedication to expanding access to technical and vocational education, noting that empowering the youth remains a critical pathway to sustainable development and economic growth in Liberia.
