MKNK Foundation Awards Full Scholarships to 25 Additional Beneficiaries at GONET Academy
The Martin K. N. Kollie Foundation (MKNK-F) has awarded full scholarships to 25 additional vetted, qualified, and accepted beneficiaries for professional education at GONET Academy, responding to the growing demand for skills-based empowerment among Liberian youth.
Over 5,000 applicants, mostly young people, competed for just 20 scholarship slots in Cohort 14. In response to the overwhelming interest and clear need for empowerment opportunities, the Foundation expanded the program by adding five additional scholarships, reaffirming its commitment to action, innovation, and practical solutions.
With this latest cohort, the MKNK Foundation has sponsored 85 Liberians across Cohorts 12, 13, and 14 to pursue professional education at GONET Academy, with a total investment valued at US$13,600 (approximately L$2.4 million). In 2025 alone, the Foundation has directly empowered over 500 Liberians, predominantly youth, through scholarships and financial assistance at universities, high schools, and TVET institutions nationwide.
