Hundreds of Liberian Students Complete One Month of Free and Intensive WASSCE Preparatory Classes Fully Sponsored By the MKNK Foundation

Press Statement for Immediate Release

On April 12, 2025, we launched an intensive one-month free preparatory WAEC-WASSCE classes for about 300 senior high school students who are poised to write a 9-subject West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) starting Thursday, May 15, 2025.

The Martin K. N. Kollie Foundation (MKNK-F) is pleased and glad to announce that the program ended yesterday, May 10, 2025, with a mini get-together. We are impressed by the very positive feedback that we have been getting from the students/beneficiaries that their skills, knowledge, and confidence level have greatly improved/increased.

A big thank you to all of our coordinators and facilitators, especially our WAEC-specialized instructors who volunteered their services to make this preparatory program a big SUCCESS. We are proud of y’all. The Foundation appreciated and certified all of them (more than 10 instructors). We intend to replicate this idea beyond Montserrado County for more people to benefit.

It is also important to note that during the course of the one-month program, the Foundation provided food for the students. We are grateful to everyone for your continued support.

The goal of the foundation is to continue to empower Liberians and inspire positive social change across Liberia. It is not enough to only fight for our community through advocacy. We are humbled and privileged to also give back.

We are wishing all Liberian students the best of luck on their exams.
